Education
PhD in Chemistry, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Advisor: Professor Jeffrey Moore)
BS in Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
BS in Brain and Cognitive Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Research Interests
The Janowicz group focuses on using technology and the Internet to enhance learning in organic chemistry. We study adaptive technology, cognitive load, attention, motivation, and the effects of technology on student performance both quantitatively and qualitatively. We are also working to create a personalized teaching approach through the Internet.
